Excel to CSV

Convert an Excel workbook to CSV or JSON, every sheet included.

How it works

  1. 1Upload a .xlsx file.
  2. 2Choose CSV or JSON.
  3. 3Download one file, or a zip with one file per sheet.

Features

  • Every sheet converted.
  • Formula results, not formulas.
  • UTF-8 with BOM so Excel reopens accents correctly.
  • JSON uses the first row as keys.
  • Processed on our server and deleted right after.

Frequently asked questions

Does it support .xls?

Only the modern .xlsx format. Open an .xls in Excel or LibreOffice and save it as .xlsx first.

What happens to dates?

They're written as ISO dates, like 2026-10-01.
