Which algorithm does it use?
The Myers diff algorithm, the same approach as git. It finds the smallest set of changes.
Can I compare code?
Yes. Line mode with a monospace font works well for code and config files.
Is there a size limit?
No fixed limit. Very different texts over a few thousand changes are shown as a block of removed and added lines.
