Where do I find a Shorts link?
Open the Short, tap Share, then Copy link. A Shorts link looks like youtube.com/shorts/ followed by an 11-character code.
What if I only have a regular watch link?
Use the YouTube Video Downloader instead. This tool only accepts links that contain /shorts/.
Why does 1080p look different from a normal video?
Shorts are tall, not wide. A 1080p Short is 1080 pixels wide by 1920 tall, which is the full Shorts resolution.
Can I repost a Short I download?
Only with the creator's permission or if it is licensed for reuse. Credit and permission matter, and reposting can breach YouTube's terms.
Does it include the music?
You get the audio that is part of the published Short. Rules about reusing that audio are set by the creator and rights holders.
